The world’s biggest solar plant is going to be built at San Luis Obispo in California. This solar plant consists of two individual plants in it. This 12.5 square miles plant will generate about 800 mega watts of power. The concept of the plant is to generate 20% more electricity by 2010.Silicon Valley Firms, Optisolar and Sunpower are involved in this endorsement to build this solar plant. The former solar plant will work on a 550-mega watts solar farm using thin-film photovoltaic panels, while the second one will work on a 250 megawatt.
