Set Favicons Next To Google Reader !
Now it is easy to add favicon next to each Google Reader subscription. It is so simple to do that, just go to the settings page and check the box “Show favicons for subscriptions”. At the same time, you can enable this option in another way, just click on the arrow next to “Subscription” and choose “Use Favicons”.
By default, this feature is disabled, as Google knows that everyone doesn’t want this subscription list to turn into a multi-colored extravaganza. Therefore, Google makes it into a setting that you can access from your subscription menu.
Moreover, Instead of loading the images directly, Google uses a special service to obtain the favicons. This is an example, search Engine Land’s favicon is generated like this:
