Now Gmail lets you to do something different from its Gmail ID. You can send your mails from Gmail to other ID with fake name or ID in Gmail itself. For all that, you have to configure your Gmail Account. The IDs can be however. To configure the settings follow the following steps.

•Sign in your Gmail Account
•Click on “Settings” at top of the right part of the screen.
•Then click on “Accounts” tab and check for “Send Mail As” option
•Click on “Add another email address”
•Enter another email ID and continue to verification window.

The alternative given email ID should belong to your ownership then only you can use this facility. To verify the ownership just click on link received in verification email.
