You may know the features and importance of a Remote Desktop Connection. That feature lets you connect a client Computer to a remote or Host Computer in a different location. Therefore, you can feel as you’re accessing your own Computer. Using this feature, you can access Programs, Files and Network Resources on the remotely accessed Computer. If you want to setup a new Remote Desktop Connection feature just follow the following steps. Here, we have given two procedures for you. First step is for performing the steps on the Client Computer and the second one is to connect to the Host.
Important Notes 1:
• Please ensure that you’re having proper networking setup.
• You should configure the user account with the password with which you’re going to configure the remote connection.
• Remember, you can’t establish the remote connection with a host Compute that is turned OFF or in Standby, Hibernate or in Sleep Mode.
Set up the remote computer to allow a connection.
How to allow a Computer to setup a remote connection
1. First, click on the Start Button and then select Control Panel.
2. Then, in the Control Panel Windows, choose System And Security.
3. Now, choose System.
4. Thereafter, in the left side pane click on Remote Settings.
5. If you’re prompted for the password or a User Account Control prompt is displayed, you have to enter the appropriate password or click Yes.
6. Then, in the System Properties Window, on the Remote tab in the Remote Desktop section, you have to click on the select the desired connection setting and then click Select Users.
