Logitech, one of the leading makers of Webcam and other peripherals has decided to buy LifeSize Communications for $405 million in cash. Therefore, Logitech puts itself into the video conferencing market.
Usually, LifeSize was offering you high-definition video-conferencing systems. It had customers range from small and medium business to large companies.
The main reasons of Logitech to acquire LifeSize most of the standalone video conferencing players have been acquired. Moreover, Cisco is planning to buy Tandberg but it has some trouble and once LifeSize is off the board, Polycom will be the last player standing.
