Latest Test Versions Of Adobe Flash Player And AIR For All Types Of Systems !
On Monday, Adobe Labs has released its two latest test versions for Net based applications, Flash Player 10.1 and AIR (Adobe Integrated Runtime) 2. Definitely, you may know the usage of Flash; it gives you streaming video, interactive graphics and games to the browsers. At the same time, AIR is a foundation for other desktop applications. Both of these versions are instrumental for Adobe to stay ahead of broadening feature set of HTML and related Web standards.
The version Flash Player 10.1 not only supports just Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux computers, but also supports your smartphones even if they aren’t yet inbuilt. Moreover, in this player, you can have a hardware-based decoding of the popular H264 video format with improvement to save battery’s life. At the same time, it supports HTTP streaming linked with Adobe’s content protection technology.
The version of Flash Player 10.1 for Palm Pre Smartphone will available later this year and the final version for all of the systems will be available in the first half of 2010. AIR 2.0 that comprises Flash Player 10.1 gives a good integration with desktop computers. Because, it is able to communicate with some USB storage devices, monitor multitouch user interface, tap into microphone audio data, render Web pages using HTML5 and CSS version 3.
