Internet Explorer Cannot Open the Site
Operation aborted

It is found that Sitemeter tracking code which counts the visitors of our site is crashing while opening in Internet Explorer. We found that most of the sites using Sitemeter were found crashed when visiting through Internet Explorer browser versions 6.0 and 7.0. I was searching for a solution to fix it and it is working

When i opens the site in Mozilla and other browsers the site works, it results no errors. Only through the Internet Explorer the error appears as above stated.

Fix this Problem?
I removed sitemeter from my site and its working!!!

Is there any other go???

Thank you for blogging about this! It seems as if the Sitemeter javascript was giving me fits, too. I went to the Sitemeter admin page and grabbed the script again, and put it in my footer to replace the previous script, and everything is working fine now.

Maybe they made a change in the script? At any rate, your post helped me to fix the problem on my site. Thank you!

    Try to login through Firefox.

You will not lose the sitemeter history by removing sitemeter code from your blog.
