The latest technology make of Intel Core 2 duo and Quad processor are giving a good performance. As followed by these two processors Intel has planned to introduce its new official chip based on Nehalem Architecture to be called “Corei7”.

This will be the seventh generation of Intel architecture since 23 years. Intel says that this will be available in two editions; they are Regular Core i7 and the high performance Extreme Intel Core i7.
Features of the Intel Core i7 lineup:
• Dual-core and Quad-core mainstream processors
• On-die memory controller
• Point-to-point connections between the processor and peripherals using QuickPath interconnect system.
• Can handle more than 4 threads at once, means faster speeds
• Advanced Hyperthreading technology will utilize the threads to do even more work
