How To Stop Automatic Installation Of Internet Explorer 8 ?
If you are using IE in your system then it will be automatically pushed to IE8 through Windows Automatic Updates. This process will begin by third week of this month. This is expected to happen in Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 2003 Server and Windows 2008 server. Therefore, Microsoft will prompt you to install the browser. If you don’t like this intimation you can completely block these types of intimations using a toolkit which officially comes from Microsoft.

HI, I have a problem with IE8. When I install it and go to Outlook in Office 2003, any link I click on partially opens ie8 and brings up Process explorer. I tried removing Process Explorer but then IE8 locks up partially open and the error message says that Outlook cannot open Process explorer. When I uninstall IE8 and go back to IE7, it all works properly. I am running XP pro with 1.5 gigs of ram. Can you help me? Fred
