DO NOT EDIT REGEDIT KEYS if you really do not want to trash your system. Simple way is to uninstall wamp, apache programs Install the XAMPP. It is pre-bundled with perl, Apache, PHP, mysql, tomcat, mercury, filezilla. installation is trouble free. The error is due to 2 Apache version conflicting with each other.
