How To Secure My Gmail Data Transmission ?

Sending the mails directly from MS exchange to Gmail is not safe at all, because this process may put the company information at risk. When Gmail began to support HTTPS connection, the problem was addressed. Google and Gmail have always supported HTTPS so that we have to add “S” to the URL prefixes manually to encrypt the mail. We have to enter as “https://mail.google.com,” not “https://www.gmail.com.” .” (Note that Google Calendar also supports HTTPS.). If we enter, the URL with “S” Gmail will let to encrypt all our connection via a simple setting change.

To secure the email transmission, click the settings in the top right corner of the Gmail home page. After clicking the settings, scroll down to “Browser Connection” at the bottom of the window. In browser connection, select “Always use https” and just click save changes, then the transmission will be encrypted.
