How To Receive Mail Alerts In Gmail Account ?
If you are using email regularly and usually you keep your Gmail open to check the mails by hitting the refresh button this feature will be a useful thing for you. Users who are using Google Toolbar 5 for internet explorer can add the Gmail Custom Button to do this process easier. With this button users can receive message alerts, see previews of mails. Moreover we can use the toolbar’s search box to find any message from wherever we are.
Even more Google Toolbar has a “Send To” feature to open a Gmail compose window automatically with a link to the page we are on and any text we have highlighted on that page.
So that sending the pages which we come across is very easy as we browse the web and also we can add the Google gadgets to our toolbar to get our favorite websites and online services.

Google keeps disappointing me. There is no notification. No popup. No sound. No alert. You do not receive any alert or message about new mail. Clicking a button or clicking a tab with gmail on makes no difference. The point is that you have to go look yourself. How in the world can they call that “receive notification”?
You have to check that stupid button manually all the time. This is such a scam! Why can’t Google make the old gmail notifier work with their new toolbar?
