Although it is a long time since Windows SP2 beta had been announced most of the users are still in confusion to download it because it is not a pretty much straight forward.

After checking the availability of the windows then you update the registry so that windows will set your system for getting Vista SP2 beta. You have to download the following.
•SP2CPPRK.cmd.remove this can be downloaded here.
•After downloading rename the file from SP2CPPRK.cmd.remove to SP2CPPRK.cmd
•Right click on it and run as an administrator.
•Once you finished checking if you see the below message in your command prompt.

After doing all above just check again for new updates in windows update center. If you can download you will find a small update which will download the Vista SP2 Servicing stack update build. After completing download you will have to restart the system.
Once you finish restarting the system check for update again and it will list the Vita SP2 package of 297.5 MB in total.
