How to install Microsoft Security Essentials and remove the Scareware
Microsoft is one of the most essential tools available from Microsoft. It can be installed easily and you can use it without any training, as it is a simple to handle. Moreover, it is an update and available with the latest definitions. If you install it and run in the Computer, the Software will let you know if you’re secured or not. What is ScareWare
Microsoft has introduced a special ScareWare that claims to be the Official Security Essential Suite. Moreover, this sits on the screen and lists the collection of the infections. If you want to remove them, it prompts you to pay a small fee in order to obtain the “Fully Functioning” non-trial version of the Security Essentials. Whereas, the Security Essentials is free. What does Security Essentials 2010 do?
The Malware Program Security Essential 2010 is the Trojan and affects Win32/Fakeinit. Remember, it doesn’t remove the Malware. This Scareware not only install the fake scanner component but also monitors the running process and it attempts to terminate the ones it doesn’t want. Therefore, the Malware prevention programs will be turned OFF.
• It is able to change the registry by lowering the number of security settings.
• It can change the Desktop background and display an annoyed message.
• It attempts to lock in this desktop background by modifing the registry.
• In order to lock in the Desktop background, it attempts to modify the registry.
• It also downloads and installs a Win32/Alureon component. Win32/Alureon is family of the data-stealing Trojans. In order to steal the Data, it is intercepted with incoming and outgoing web traffic.
• It can download the Layered Service Provider (LSP) element.
• It is the part of the Trojan:Win32/Fakeinit Trojan.
• This LSP Monitors the Internet Traffic used by various Web Browsers that might have installed and block traffic to certain domains.
• Moreover, it blocks access to a number of popular Video Websites, which includes Facebook, eBay and YouTube.
This program pretends like a legitimate Microsoft product and acts ingenious. It usually warns you about the infections and installs the Trojans. Moreover, it can steal the personal information, block Internet Access to certain Websites and it asks for money to remove the infections. If you run or scan the program in any way, it will infect the Computer. Even if you pay the full version to keep the Computer safe, it will affect the System anyway. Therefore, you have to have a Malware removal program.
