Although Rapidshare limits the free user from accessing and downloading the file, yet we can download the many big size files. After reaching, a certain limit Rapidshare will automatically ban our IP address. Then we have to change Our IP address. There are several ways to change the IP address.
1. Get the new IP address from ISP (for dynamic IP address Internet users only)
a. Click Start
b. In RUN command type cmd
c. Click OK
d. In the Command Prompt run the following commands one by one.

ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
exit

Note: Also, we can run the all above commands as a batch files. This is the easiest way to change the IP address. To create the batch file use Edit in command or Notepad copy the all above commands in to the editor and save with the extension of .bat or .cmd (for Notepad, change the File Type to All File too)
2. Use a proxy server, or a different proxy server
If you search in search engines as “proxy server”, you can get a list of search engines. Choose any proxy

server and note down the IP address and port number.
a.In Internet Explorer go to Tools
b.Choose Internet Options
c.Go to Connection
d.Choose LAN settings
e.In LAN setting Check (select) the option of Use a proxy server for your LAN.
f.Then Key in the proxy server IP address and port in respective box
g.Click OK to continue
For Mozilla firefox users
a.Go to Tools
b.Choose Options
c.Select Connection Settings
d.Select Manual Proxy Configuration and key in proxy server information
e.Click OK to continue
If you reach the download limit, you will have to change the proxy server again. There are some tools available to switch the proxy server automatically. In Internet Explorer, try Steganos Internet Anonym 2006 from Steganos or Hide IP from V7soft. In Firefox, use the SwitchProxy extension both software allow you to change the proxy server easily and quickly.
