How To Hide Our Updates In Orkut ?
If we want our updates in Orkut to hide, we can easily prevent others from viewing our updates. It is always very safe to keep our updates hidden from others.
To hide all updates
To disable this feature entirely, simply follow these steps:
1. Click Settings on the sidebar of your profile.
2. Select the Privacy tab.
3. Check Hide Updates.
Note: Updates will be sent to your friends only for actions performed while you have the updates feature enabled. If you disable this feature, you can still see your friends’ updates in the Updates From Your Friends section of your homepage.
To hide some particular updates
We can also hide some updates from appearing on others homepages without disabling the whole feature.
1. Go to the Updates From Your Friends section of your homepage.
2. Click My Updates at the bottom of the page.
3. Click Hide Update next to the update you want to hide. This item will not be displayed in the updates section on your friends’ homepages.
For a quick way to access your updates section, click the updates button under your profile photo
