As everyone knows there is a draw back in Google Doc that is it will never intimate the users once they fill out the form.
But now you can’t say that Google Doc is having a drawback because it has rolled out an option to send the email alerts if anyone fill the form. To get the email alerts whenever an user updates your Google Doc form just click on the share button while editing the form and click on “Set Notification Rules”.

Once you click an inline window will popup and it will show the options to setup the email alerts when anyone edits the form. With this feature people can know the details about the forms when are they filled up and edited.

I’m working on a group project for school, and I offered Google docs to my group members for collaborating purposes. I tried looking for “Set Notification Rules” under “Share” but it does not appear. Instead, Google offers to “Publish as Web Page” and set up an RSS feed for notification updates – a bit more involved than your directions AND has a lack of privacy to it. Personally, I think they should bring back the Notification option – not everyone is as tech-savvy as Google thinks they are.
