Go for system restore: (Why I am telling because, the above options mentioned may/may not work)

System restore facility in windows restores your computer to the condition of the earlier date. So if you know the date (exact date not reqd!!!) , when you did not have the problem of Data execution, do system restore in Microsoft:

Here the steps,

(i) Goto--->Start--->All programs--->Accessories--->System tools--->System Restore.

(i)Then, select--->Restore my computer to an earlier time(default)--->(select the any one of highlighted earlier dates, where your PC did not have problem")--->(PC will restart and problem will disappear :) )

I received DEP error as soon as i open the folder that contains Xvid movie. The default program to open Xvid was set to Media Player Classic. Where as the other movie formats did not cause any error, because they were set to VLC. I uninstalled the Media Player Classic and DEP error did not appear. So, see what is causing the error, it might be the resent installed application or application that you might installed few months ago, and uninstall it to get rid of this nuisance.
