If you want to change the icons of Windows default icons with something else, the Windows 7 library icons can be easily changed with a hack to a text file. Therefore, you can use a small program known as Library Icon Changer. Whenever, you open this tool you can get a list of icons and libraries and then click on the Library on the right hand side, then choose the icons from the left and then click “Select Icon from dll”.

Instead of doing this, you can choose “Select new Icon” from file.
Moreover, you can restore the icon to the default, just click on the Library first on the right hand side and then click on the Restore default icon button.
