Fullscreen Google Tasks – A Standalone Service ?
Although the Google Tasks is integrated with Gmail, Google Calendar and there’s an iGoogle gadget and a mobile version for Google Taks, yet Google doesn’t treat Google Tasks as a standalone service.
When you look at the most recent update, it is the iGoogle gadget has a canvas view that will be displayed whenever you maximize the gadget.
At the same time, the gadget will let you create multiple lists; use the toolbar in order to clear completed tasks or to reorder tasks. Therefore, you can sort the tasks by due date and view a list of the finished tasks.
If you don’t want to use iGoogle, the URL of the canvas view is https://mail.google.com/tasks/canvas. Bookmark the page and pretend it’s the standalone version of Google Tasks.
