Editing and viewing the Microsoft Documents have become old now because soon you will be able to edit and view within your web browser because Microsoft gears up for developing a web based version of MSOffice.
Although it is a web based application yet it is a light weight version including Word, Excel, Power Point and One Note. You can view, edit and perform the basic operations over the internet.
Mostly many features of MSOffice will be missed in the web based online MSOffice because Microsoft never aims to lose money from offline version sales. [ More ]

It is intresting to know what technology Microsoft uses to access office in the browser it may be Silverlight ,Flash or Ajax.
