As per the meeting with the officials of the Dell Company, the company has taken up the decision that it would shutting down the Bangalore Hardware Division officially. Even though the center would be in active but there would a change in the operations. They would work under the operation of Software Development, rather than hardware designing, which was done earlier.

It has been found that the Hardware designing Center would be shifted from Bangalore to other design centers in Austin and Taiwan. The Dell Company would be shifting its design opeation center and undergo its move after some months, with regard to their politics to use more contractors for the designing of future products.The birth of the Dell Hardware Design Center in India took place in the year 2004. It was also undergoing software development programs in the country, when the started the hardware design center. The company had 500 employees in bothe areas of the business. But this move would affect the employment life of under 100 employees. At the same time the Times of India reports that, the statistics of affecting just 100 employees is false. It says that this move would affect more than 170 staffs.

The Hardware Design Center in India successfully accomplished the creation of a dual-socket server and a storage product, Dell spokesperson reports. He also siad that, the main reason for the shifting is that the company creating higher focus on solutions, that requires a lot of software development. He also added that, the shutting of center in India doesn’t means that Dell is losing interest in Indian soil. The Dell company last year had decided to double the number of employees to 20000, within a three year span.

Besides the sucessful business of Dell in the field of software development and hardware deign, the company also has customer support centers in different cities across the country that deals with company’s worldwide customers.
