ABSTRACT OF MY IDEA SIMILAR TO THIS.

“LIFE IS MORE PRECIOUS THAN ANYTHING SO, SAFETY FIRST”. In consideration with this
fact, our team hereby introducing a new system to the marine world.

We describe a new life saving apparatus in ships which automatically detects the
emergency situation and take adequate action immediately without the help of man
power. The technical name which we have been given to our idea is AUTOMATIC LIFE
SAVING SENSOR SYSTEM IN SHIPS (ALSSS). Even though there are so many life saving
equipments on board ships to rescue the human life most of them works on man power.
If an accident is happened to a crew member without the knowledge of his colleagues,
he can’t escape from that situation. Here comes the role of ALSSS. Our ideal system
consist of transmitting unit, receiving unit, two sensors (Distance measuring sensors
and angle measuring sensor), inflatable life buoy along with tube rope of 150 meters,
a long range shooter, camera and alarming system. As an instance, consider a ship
which is in its voyage. This ship is provided with our ALSSS system. The main point is
that every crew of the ship is provided with a watch were the transmitter is attached to
it. It is not necessary to keep the transmitter in the watch itself. It can also attach with
anything like boiler suit, shoes, dress etc… but it is mandatory to keep with them always
when they are on board. Once the crew falls into the sea without other knowledge, the
transmitter will get into switch on condition when it touches sea water. Immediately the
transmitter will emit the signals. These signals will be received by the receiver which is
kept on board.

The receiver unit is kept along with sensors and shooter. Once the receiver receive the
signal pulses, immediately the angle sensor detect the angle at which the shooter and
the transmitter lies. And the mechanical system attach to the system will make the
shooter to turn exactly facing towards the transmitting unit. Than the distance sensor
will measure the distance between them. In respective of that, the shooter will throw
the inflatable life buoy (new type) which is having the size of a human fist (when it is not
inflated) towards the transmitter. The life buoy is already connected with a tube rope
with negligible weight. Then the air is automatically blown through the tube with the
help of a compressor pump which automatically starts. Thus the life buoy gets inflated.
So, that the human life is saved. The advantage of our ideal system are, no need of
man power assistance, it ensure more safety to the life of sailors , the transmitter will

only work in sea water, the tube rope which we have mentioned can withstand high
pressure, temperature and its made up of light weight material. The assurance of this
idea into reality will reduce the number of sea accident causing death…
